The skin will form a brown scab that takes 3- 5 days to peel off, revealing fresh, new skin.  This will improve skin texture, tone and firmness, smooth out wrinkles, and reduce pore size and scars. Depending on the severity of the skin damage, 1 or more treatments achieve optimal results.

The down time for this procedure is 5-7 days, during which time you cannot wear makeup. All candidates must undergo a medical evaluation prior to treatment. The following criteria exclude clients from being eligible for laser resurfacing: Certain prescription medications: Accutane within the past year, current use of Docycycline , Tanned skin,  Dark skin type, Diabetes, and Active Skin Cancer in the immediate treatment area. Topical Medications such as Retinol or Retin-A/ tretinion must be avoided 5 days prior to treatment. The complete treatment takes approximately 30 minutes.
