Laser skin resurfacing is delivered by Harmony Fractional Ablative CO2 Laser Technology and is used to resurface the skin. The laser creates micro holes in the skin using micro CO2 laser beams. Healthy skin surrounding these micro holes helps to heal the treatment areas while stimulating collagen production. The skin will form a brown scab that takes 3- 5 days to peel off, revealing fresh, new skin.  This will improve skin texture, tone and firmness, smooth out wrinkles, and reduce pore size and scars. Depending on the severity of the skin damage, 1 or more treatments achieve optimal results.

The down time for this procedure is 5-7 days, during which time you cannot wear makeup. All candidates must undergo a medical evaluation prior to treatment. The following criteria exclude clients from being eligible for laser resurfacing: Certain prescription medications: Accutane within the past year, current use of Docycycline , Tanned skin,  Dark skin type, Diabetes, and Active Skin Cancer in the immediate treatment area. Topical Medications such as Retinol or Retin-A/ tretinion must be avoided 5 days prior to treatment. The complete treatment takes approximately 30 minutes.
